Shift(s) Available:

1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer or CNC Programmer who prefers being on the shop floor instead of behind a desk? DRT Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to support precision machining operations, develop CNC programs, improve manufacturing processes, and work directly with machinists to drive production success.

This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact in a growing aerospace manufacturing facility where your work directly influences quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

What You'll Do

Develop CNC programs and support program optimization using Mastercam
Determine manufacturing methods, routing sequences, tooling, fixturing, and inspection requirements
Support first article prove-outs and production launches
Create setup sheets, operation sheets, and manufacturing documentation
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues on the shop floor
Develop manufacturing estimates and job quotes for precision-machined components
Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and cost reduction
Partner closely with machinists, supervisors, quality personnel, and production teams

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience
5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Programming, or Process Engineering experience
Strong Mastercam programming experience
Experience supporting CNC mills, lathes, VTLs, or multi-axis machining centers
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

Aerospace manufacturing experience
Siemens NX CAD/CAM experience
Fixture and tooling design experience
First article and production prove-out experience
Tool room or advanced machining experience
