Mixing Machine Operator

Mixer OperatorWhat You'll DoOperate industrial mixing equipment to make glues and sealants.Follow batch tickets to measure and mix materials correctly.Use a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished products.Lift and load materials weighing 50+ lbs throughout the shift.Monitor mixing processes and perform quality checks.Fill and move 50-gallon drums of finished product.Enter production data and complete paperwork in the computer system.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.Requirements1+ year of manufacturing or production experience.Sit-down forklift experience.Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.Basic math and measurement skills.Comfortable using a computer for data entry.Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.Work EnvironmentIndustrial chemical manufacturing facility.Hot, non-air-conditioned environment.Frequent forklift traffic and machine noise.Long sleeves required at all times.Regular schedule: 2nd Shift (6 PM to 6 AM), rotating 2-2-3 schedule.Training on 1st Shift (6 AM to 6 PM) for 1 to 3 months.BenefitsPay increase upon permanent hire.Shift differential for 2nd shift.Strong health insurance and 401(k) benefits.Quarterly production bonuses.3 weeks of vacation plus 9 paid holidays.Long-term career growth opportunities.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Columbia Heights, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
