The work schedule predominately runs from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for weekend availability as needed. Our collaborative practice environment fosters a supportive atmosphere where team members are encouraged to share their insights and engage in continuous learning to enhance their skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead interdisciplinary patient care teams by actively participating in evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation of care protocols.Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, ensuring alignment with each patient's goals and progress.Utilize a range of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, while adhering to the best practices within the scope of physical therapy.Provide patient and family education about treatment options, injury prevention, and wellness strategies to promote ongoing health and recovery.Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes and enhance quality of care.Contribute to departmental and organizational initiatives focusing on quality improvement, staff management, and cost-effective resource utilization.Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor, ensuring patient satisfaction and comfort throughout their therapy journey.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will work primarily with active individuals seeking rehabilitation from sports-related injuries, post-surgical recovery, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient population includes amateur athletes of all ages, weekend warriors, and fitness enthusiasts striving to regain their pre-injury performance levels. By collaborating closely with patients, families, and caregivers, you will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment conducive to their healing and rehabilitation process.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.Current physical therapy licensure in the State of Virginia.CPR certification must be maintained throughout employment.Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a capability to multitask in a dynamic outpatient environment.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient or sports medicine setting.Demonstrated proficiency in employing various physical therapy modalities and therapeutic techniques to achieve patient-centered goals.Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality and effectiveness.Compensation and BenefitsThis Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
