You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals while providing therapeutic interventions directly in patients' homes. Our supportive work culture promotes collaboration, and we encourage open communication among team members, facilitating a nurturing environment where exceptional care thrives.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient evaluations that include detailed histories, assessments of physical function, and identification of rehabilitation goals tailored to the individual's needs.Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that adapt to the unique circumstances of each patient, revising them as necessary based on ongoing assessments and responses to therapy.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment activities, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.Engage in discharge planning processes, providing patients and caregivers with clear pathways for continued recovery and resources, while effectively communicating progress and recommendations to the healthcare team.Participate in collaborative case discussions with fellow therapists and medical professionals to enhance treatment strategies and share best practices.Attend regular team meetings to stay abreast of developments within the clinic and contribute your insights for team improvement.Patient Population / Client FocusAs an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients managing diverse orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Applying your expertise, you will tailor interventions to promote optimal recovery in a home environment, which necessitates adaptability and creativity in your therapeutic approaches.QualificationsCompletion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.A valid physical therapist license to practice in the State of Virginia.Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, with proficiency in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.Experience developing and implementing tailored treatment plans in diverse settings, preferably in home care or outpatient clinic environments.Compensation and BenefitsThe position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
