You will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, reviewing designs, and integrating with other NG integrated product teams to ensure adherence to, and implementation of requirements. You will actively participate in design reviews, design release, research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and solutions. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are critical to being successful in this position. The standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM fieldMinimum of 8 years of relevant experienceU.S. citizenMust have an active Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP) clearanceExperience performing mechanical design and release efforts on MILCON, major infrastructure/building projects, or Aerospace and Defense programs.Proficient with PDM and/or CPLM or equivalentProficient with 3D design/2D drawing CAD in NX or equivalentAbility to understand and interpret requirementsMust be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, WordAble to work independently, function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible in changing directionExcellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex conceptsExposure to missiles program requirements & with propulsionProficient with GD&T and ASME Y14.5-2009Primary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
