DIESEL TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform diesel engine repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
Diagnose mechanical and electrical diesel system issues
Repair fuel systems, exhaust systems, and emission systems
Complete transmission, drivetrain, brake, and suspension work
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
Handle warranty repairs and dealership service work
Maintain high-quality repair standards

DIESEL TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

Experience as a diesel technician, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment technician
All experience levels considered, including entry-level and master technicians
Strong diagnostic and repair skills for diesel engines
Personal tools required
Valid driver’s license preferred

DIESEL TECHNICIAN SKILLS

Diesel technician skills include diesel engine diagnostics, diesel repair, and diesel maintenance across fuel systems, turbo systems, emission systems, and heavy-duty diesel engines. Experience with automatic and manual transmissions, drivetrains, axles, suspension systems, brake systems, electrical and electronic diagnostics.

Strong experience diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks, light-duty diesel vehicles, and heavy-duty diesel equipment in dealership or independent repair environments. Knowledge of diesel systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is highly valued.
