Production Assistant II

We are seeking a Production Assistant II to support our client's production team in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands-on mechanical assembly experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This temporary assignment is expected to last 4 weeks, with the potential for extension based on business needs.

Location: Phoenix, AZ Shift: MondayFriday | Typically 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Overtime required as needed)

Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Employment Type: Temporary (4-week assignment with potential for extension)

About the Role

As a Production Assistant II, you will provide production support within a manufacturing environment, assembling box-build integration systems and subassemblies while maintaining quality, organization, and production efficiency. This role is ideal for individuals with mechanical assembly experience who take pride in producing high-quality work.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble box-build integration systems and related subassemblies by following work instructions and production documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring proper separation of job kits, tools, and materials.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve assembly issues within your skill level.
• Support supervisors with production scheduling, workflow, and work assignments as needed.
• Review work-in-process to ensure quality standards and specifications are consistently met.
• Complete and organize required quality documentation for production records.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a quality-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical or production assembly experience.
• Comfortable using a variety of hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Soldering experience is a plus; a soldering assessment may be required.
