Restaurant Assistant General Manager

Assistant General Manager

Are you a polished, hands-on Restaurant Assistant General Manager with strong leadership and coaching abilities? We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager in Charlotte to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume, upscale casual dining environment and the motivation to grow into a GM with our restaurant group. Our restaurant is well-established and known for delivering exceptional service, elevated cuisine, and a refined guest experience. If you have at least 5 years of experience leading a team in high-volume, full-service, upscale concepts, we would love to speak with you!

Restaurant Assistant General Manager Responsibilities

Ensure quality and service standards are maintained at all times
Train, coach, and develop team members to uphold polished service standards
Demonstrate strong financial acumen — assist in controlling costs and driving profitability
Oversee daily operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Restaurant Assistant General Manager Qualifications

At least 5 years of leadership experience as a full-service restaurant manager and two of those years as an AGM in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment
Experience managing annual sales volumes over $5 million
Proven track record of controlling costs and achieving strong financial results with the leadership team
Ability to train, develop, and motivate a professional and polished service team
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence
