Are you outgoing, motivated, and confident starting conversations with new people?
US POWER is hiring energetic Solar Appointment Setters to connect with homeowners, introduce our solar and home energy solutions, and schedule qualified appointments for experienced Solar Consultants.
No solar or sales experience is required. You’ll receive paid training, ongoing coaching, and hands-on support to help you build valuable communication and sales skills.
Your focus is straightforward:
Meet homeowners. Create interest. Book appointments.
This is an active, field-based position. You will not design solar systems, prepare proposals, explain complex financing, negotiate contracts, or close sales. After you schedule a qualified appointment, our Solar Consultants handle the full consultation and sales process.
What You’ll Do
- Visit residential neighborhoods throughout the Los Angeles area
- Speak directly with homeowners and introduce them to US POWER
- Start friendly conversations about electricity costs and potential solar savings
- Ask simple qualifying questions to identify interested homeowners
- Schedule appointments for our experienced Solar Consultants
- Accurately record homeowner information and appointment details
- Follow up with interested homeowners when needed
- Represent US POWER professionally and positively in the community
How You’ll Earn
This position provides several ways to increase your income:
- $17.00 per hour during your first two days of paid training
- $18.50 per hour starting on Day 3
- $50 for each qualified appointment
- $150 for each resulting sale
- Weekly performance bonuses based on completed appointment volume
- Additional commissions when eligible projects reach designated milestones
- Uncapped performance-based earning potential
The complete compensation plan—including appointment qualifications, eligibility requirements, and payment milestones—will be reviewed during the interview.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM–7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Experience in appointment setting, canvassing, customer service, retail, hospitality, promotions, fundraising, or sales is helpful—but not required .
