We are seeking an experienced Technology Specialist Business Analyst (Analytics) with strong expertise in business analysis, SQL, and requirements management. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions. This role requires an analytical professional who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams while driving process improvements and delivering data-driven business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Conduct requirement elicitation workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand business needs and objectives.
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Analyze existing business processes ("As-Is") and design optimized future-state ("To-Be") processes.
• Develop process flows, workflow diagrams, and business process models using industry-standard techniques.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development and QA teams.
• Perform data analysis using SQL to validate business requirements, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, Product Owners, and project managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release activities in Agile environments.
• Validate implemented solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend innovative business solutions.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations, and executive summaries for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 810 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in business analysis and requirements management.
• Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
• Expertise in: Requirement Elicitation, Business Process Analysis, Use Case Development, User Story Creation, Functional Specifications, Acceptance Criteria.
• Strong knowledge of As-Is and To-Be process analysis.
• Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, and business process documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on Analytics or Data Management projects.
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
• Knowledge of SDLC, UAT, and change management processes.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in enterprise environments.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
