Dental Hygienist – Dental Care at Midtown Join to apply for the Dental Hygienist role at Heartland Dental Heartland Dental is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. Hours needed: Mon- 8a-5p, Tues- 10a-7p, Wed 8a-5p, Thurs 7a-7p, Fr 8a-3p, one Saturday a month 8a-3p. 36 Expected hours per week. Hyg would work one Saturday every other month. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience 1 year of clinical experience but willing and excited to take on a new graduate Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
