MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of MRI procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires excellent technical skills, good communication with patients, and the ability to adhere to safety protocols.

Schedule

5x8 shifts from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekends may require an 8-hour shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM depending on the schedule.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of MRI procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires excellent technical skills, good communication with patients, and the ability to adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients as per physician's orders.
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to during MRI operations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning at all times.
• Provide patient instructions and support throughout the imaging process.
• Document and report MRI results to the appropriate medical staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of MRI experience preferred.
• Current ARRT (MR) or BLS certification required.
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency).
