Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A new opportunity is available for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) seeking a rewarding contract role within private schools throughout Lake County. This position starts in early September 2026 and extends through late May 2027, offering the chance to positively impact student success while working collaboratively with school teams in a dynamic, itinerant capacity.

Key Qualifications:

• Current national BCBA certification required
• Strong background conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and developing Behavioral Intervention Plans
• Experience providing consultation, staff training, and supervision for behavioral interventions
• Ability to work effectively within school settings and communicate with teams, staff, and families
• School-based experience is strongly preferred, though not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments for individual students or classroom/setting needs, gathering data through observations, records review, and collaboration with school staff
• Develop and document Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individuals or groups, with ongoing monitoring and updates as needed
• Train and support school personnel in plan implementation, behavioral procedures, crisis prevention, and data collection
• Deliver behavioral therapy to individuals or groups of students as appropriate
• Guide the use of social-emotional learning curricula and assist with positive behavior systems
• Adjust service hours as necessary for transitions, but primarily work during regular student school hours
