Intervention Specialist

Intervention Specialist (Moderate to Intensive)Seeking applicants with Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist teaching license.Major responsibilities, partial list:Develops measurable educational goals and objectives based on assessment data and progress monitoring documentation.Knowledgeable about co-teaching, universal education and co-treating strategies.Participates in school-wide professional development programs and activities.Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students daily/weekly.Maintains records regarding student progress that is aligned with common core state standards.Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students based on individual needs and on-going data/progress monitoring.Qualifications, partial list:Valid Ohio teaching license.Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.Collaboration and problem-solving skills.Educational technology skills.Salary: According to the approved teacher salary schedule.Kettering Board of Education is an equal opportunity employer.
