This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You'll Get To DoThe selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. They review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. The Project Manager assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.Responsibilities:Ability to support integrated product teams in identifying Government Information and Property requirements, developing solutions, and obtaining joint Gov/NG/Supplier agreements.Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Giver/Receiver Web Tool and Business Management Scheduling tools.Act as NG focal point for joint Gov/NG Government Information and Property meetings.Ability to go on Hill Air Force base to meet with Government and team personnel.Be able to uphold the Giver/Receiver governance process and procedures.Maintain and develop actionable metrics for Giver/Receivers.Integration of Program Capital Plan with Overall Investment Strategy.Alignment of Capital Investments & ROI with specific program needs.This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Position Benefits: As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsBasic Qualifications:12+ Years with Bachelors; 10+ Years with Masters; 8+ Years with PhD; an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of degree.Must be a U.S citizen and have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.At least 4 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.Demonstrated track record/ experience in project management/ execution and closeout.Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management principles.Capable of working with minimal direction, independently determines and develops technical objectives of assignments, and presents work upon completion for high level review.Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.Ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers.Preferred Qualifications:PMP Certification.Firm understanding and application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations.Executive presence and comfort in communications at that level.Experience with establishing Strategy, Roadmap, Vision artifacts.Demonstrated experience using SAP, Windows software packages, Atlassian Tool Suite, and other electronic databases.Proficient in Agile Development.3 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).A successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience.Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Giver/Receiver Web Tool and Business Management Scheduling tools.Experience working with the government with property, facilities, data, and or software.Primary Level Salary Range: $126,400.00 - $189,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
