Registered Nurse - Cath Holding

City/State: Hampton, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Overview Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Holding area at Sentara Carepex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia. This is a full‑time, day shift position with a $15,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates. Hours: Monday – Friday, three 12‑hour shifts per week. Staff may work 6am‑6:30pm and/or 7:30am‑8pm. Staff is expected to stay until the last patient leaves, so shifts may run longer than noted. No call, no holidays. Responsibilities The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process and the standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching and health promotion, and evaluation). The RN also upholds standards of professional performance, including ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, quality, and resource utilization.
