Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting requiring 3+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Two shift options available: Mon/Fri 0730-1930 with Sat/Sun 0800-1700, or Thurs/Fri 0730-1930 with Sat/Sun 0800-1700 (40 hours/week)
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Uses GE CT equipment and PACS system
- Epic charting system required
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required, BLS required
- License required if applicable
- Epic experience required
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, Level I Trauma, and Level II Trauma experience preferred
- Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis imaging including contrast studies, colorectal studies, and IVP
- Experience with head/neck imaging including carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and trauma head studies
- Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and MSK trauma
- Experience with chest imaging including cardiac and vascular chest studies
- Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
Additional Information
- Adult acute care and outpatient work settings with pediatric acute care and outpatient exposure
- Preferred experience with special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
- Candidates must be nicotine free
