As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document activities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.73 - $19.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting incidents and completing required reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site personnel and following applicable post orders and technology-related facility protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
