Digital Sales Consultant – Orthopaedics – New England Locations: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine. Role Overview We are searching for a Digital Sales Consultant to support the New England region (Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine). This field‑based role focuses on driving sales and adoption of the Teligen digital solution and other robotics and enabling technologies platforms within the orthopaedics space. The consultant reports to the US Clinical Sales Manager – Digital Spine Surgery and is responsible for maintaining a validated customer sales pipeline, meeting quarterly area sales forecast goals, executing installations through education of internal and external customers, and increasing awareness across the assigned area. Responsibilities Lead prospecting, awareness campaigns, clinical demos, and clinical advocacy efforts in the assigned region. Lead site installation and initial case support with the sales consultant team. Partner with Capital Equipment Selling Managers to grow the area pipeline, monitor placement utilization, and meet enabling technologies forecast goals. Demonstrate a strong understanding of clinical & capital selling pathways with imaging, navigation, and minimally invasive surgery. Align and support area business plans and strategic goals. Support area efforts to drive associated spinal implants for full platform adoption. Partner with Commercial Education, Professional Education, and Area Sales Leadership to deliver field education programs. Lead targeted regional tissue labs, product demonstrations, industry meeting interactions, and surgeon engagements. Deliver hospital‑based onboarding programs for surgical teams (surgeon, PA, O.R. tech, etc.). Support field sales organization in executing the service and repair protocol. Influence area budgets and ensure strategic use of funding. Influence internal and external stakeholders, using data to drive decisions. Identify area needs, risks and strategies that lead to successful customer experience and platform proliferation. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college or an associate degree with highly specialized medical training/certification and four years of experience in clinical, hospital, or surgical environments. At least eight years of orthopedic spine sales experience. Minimum of three years of spinal implant sales or equivalent orthopedic capital robotics professional selling experience. Successful track record of selling new innovative medical devices. Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, presentation, and business acumen skills. Experienced in data analysis and exhibit strong problem‑solving skills. Results orientation/sense of urgency; ability to drive to tight timelines. Ability to work independently and autonomously across matrix and team structures. Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate in complex environments with high detail orientation. May initially require up to 75% domestic travel, limited weekend work, frequent overnight stays, and laboratory/operating room experience. Must live within the assigned territory and hold a valid driver’s license in one of the 50 states. Preferred Qualifications Five or more years of healthcare sales or hospital/operating room experience. Clinical experience in medical devices. Experience in spinal pathologies and products. Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions. Experience with minimally invasive spine surgery, navigation, or capital enabling technologies equipment. Additional Information The Orthopaedics business will be separated to establish a standalone company, DePuy Synthes, within 18–24 months. If selected, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes, and employment would be governed by its processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans after the transaction. Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $96,000.00 – $155,250.00. Eligible to participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and 401(k), long‑term incentive program, and various paid time off benefits including vacation, sick time, holiday pay, and parental leave.
