This assignment provides hands-on experience in a bustling emergency department, exposing you to a spectrum of patient care needs within a large, fast-paced hospital environment. You'll gain valuable pediatric emergency exposure and develop your adaptability, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams using diverse clinical and leadership approaches. Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation included

Qualifications:

• Current IL RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume hospital setting
• Pediatric emergency experience required
• Residence must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Primary Duties:

• Deliver evidence-based care to all emergency and pediatric patients
• Work collaboratively with physicians, allied health, and support staff in fast-paced situations
• Perform triage, initiate appropriate interventions, and advocate for patients and families
• Participate in department meetings, continuous training, and quality initiatives
