Role: Medical Assistant
Location: Onsite – Hillsboro, OR
Start Date: August, 3rd or sooner
Duration: 4-Month Contract
Compensation: $22-25/hr
Overview
Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide direct support to a busy provider in a clinic setting. This individual will be responsible for rooming patients, taking and documenting vital signs, administering vaccines and immunizations (including pediatric vaccinations), maintaining accurate patient records in Epic, and ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the day. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can quickly integrate into an established clinical team with minimal training.
Must Haves
- Minimum 2+ years Medical Assistant experience
- Strong Epic EMR experience
- Active Oregon State Medical Assistant Certification
Preferred Experience
- Clinic/occupational health experience
- Worked directly alongside a provider
- Experience managing provider flow independently
- Experience working with patients from 2 years old up
$22/hr to $25/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
