Psych Registered Nurse (RN) – ASAP Start
Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for an ASAP start at a pediatric/adolescent psychiatric facility. The ideal candidate must have experience working with pediatric and adolescent behavioral health populations and be comfortable providing compassionate, safe, and comprehensive nursing care.

Required Qualifications

• Previous pediatric psychiatric nursing experience (Required)
• Phlebotomy experience with willingness to perform blood draws on pediatric/adolescent patients (Required)
• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification (Required)

Responsibilities

• Provide general and specialized nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and provide medical treatments according to established protocols.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Develop and participate in comprehensive treatment planning with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Support the care and treatment of residents at Hampstead Hospital and Residential Treatment Facility (HHRTF).
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Follow the organization's vision, mission, and practice model principles in daily nursing practice.
