Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Position Overview:
Are you an experienced insurance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service? Do you enjoy working directly with clients and leading a team to deliver exceptional service? Join a State Farm independent contractor agents team as a Service Lead and help ensure our customers receive top-quality insurance and financial service support.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support the customer service team to provide outstanding service to clients.
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring follow-up and issue resolution.
Use a customer-focused, needs-based approach to educate customers on insurance options and address their service needs.
Coordinate daily workflow, manage appointments, and assist in developing leads.
Mentor and train team members to enhance their knowledge of insurance products and improve customer interactions.
Collaborate with the agent and staff to meet agency goals and maintain compliance with licensing and training requirements.

Requirements:

Proven experience in the insurance industry with a strong customer service background
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and listening
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
Process-oriented with the ability to follow and improve established procedures
Proactive problem-solving abilities
Comfortable learning and utilizing computer systems and software
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Additional Information:

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies directly.
Employees must successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. Employees of State Farm agents are not employees of State Farm Insurance Companies.
