Night Shift Travel Pharmacist Hospital Setting

A hospital in Reno is seeking an experienced Night Shift Pharmacist for a 3 month + contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with strong inpatient experience who is comfortable working independently overnight in a fast paced acute care environment.

Assignment Details:

• ~170 bed hospital setting
• 3 month + contract
• Start ASAP
• 7 on / 7 off night schedule
• 10-hour shifts
• Systems used: EPIC and Pyxis

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Ensure safe and compliant medication distribution practices
• Support inpatient pharmacy operations during overnight coverage

Requirements:

• Active Nevada Pharmacist license
• Recent hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong clinical knowledge and order verification experience
• Experience with EPIC and Pyxis preferred
• Ability to work independently on night shift
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
