Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The assignment runs from July 27, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current and valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain by start date)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience or genuine interest in working in school-based settings with diverse student needs
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to providing therapy onsite (virtual or remote not available for this role)

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy for students according to their IEPs/goals
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations for students referred for speech/language services
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure holistic student progress
• Document student progress, complete required paperwork, and participate in IEP meetings
• Contribute expertise as a consultative partner on communication strategies throughout the school environment
