We’re hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Install Technicians who take pride in doing the job right the first time. If you’re skilled in installing complete HVAC systems, reading prints, and troubleshooting on the fly — this is your opportunity to work on major commercial projects while earning top pay plus daily per diem .

This role combines hands-on installation, technical expertise, and problem-solving , giving you the chance to showcase your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

• Install complete commercial HVAC systems (air handlers, furnaces, coils, condensers, etc.)
• Fabricate and install ductwork and fittings to spec
• Perform system startups, testing, and performance verification
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with refrigeration systems, TXVs, compressors, and controls
• Inspect electrical components, thermostats, and wiring for proper operation
• Ensure all work meets code, safety, and manufacturer standards
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Work directly with customers and project teams on-site
• Train and mentor helpers to maintain strong team performance

Core Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial HVAC installation
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to work with tools/equipment
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and layouts
• Experience with HVAC system startup and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and airflow systems
• Ability to work independently and stay productive on job sites

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with duct fabrication and design
• Knowledge of air quality systems (UV lights, humidifiers, etc.)
• Experience in commercial construction environments
• Leadership experience mentoring junior techs

• $28 – $40/hour based on experience
• $150/day per diem (for qualified candidates)

This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, KY.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
