About the Role

The Company is in need of a VP Global Controller to take the helm of its global accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing accounting teams across multiple entities and regions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and managing multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations in compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS. This role demands a hands-on leader with a strong technical accounting background, particularly in NetSuite, and a proven track record in process improvement, internal controls, and managing complex global accounting operations. The VP Global Controller will also be a strategic business partner, working closely with executive leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and various financial and operational initiatives. Applicants for the VP Global Controller position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a preference for a CPA or equivalent certification. A minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in SaaS, subscription-based businesses, technology, or technology-enabled services, and experience with international accounting operations. Key competencies include accounting leadership, NetSuite ERP, financial reporting, global consolidations, and team development. The role also involves managing relationships with external auditors, supporting annual audit activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage strategic priorities while being a hands-on leader are essential.
