An established optical practice is seeking a confident, organized, and proactive Optical Office Manager to lead their dynamic team. This pivotal role is for a leader passionate about creating a positive patient experience, fostering a supportive team culture, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the optical office, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional patient care
• Lead, motivate, and coach a diverse team, cultivating accountability and professional growth
• Hold staff to high standards while providing constructive feedback and engaging in difficult conversations as needed
• Continually create a positive, collaborative, and supportive work environment
• Identify areas for improvement and implement effective processes for training, workflow, and team development
• Take ownership of team performance, consistency, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Actively participate in the patient experience, coaching staff on service excellence and recognizing opportunities to enhance practice performance
• Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve goals for patient-facing services, growth, and quality
• Address gaps and challenges proactively with solution-oriented thinking, providing structure and follow-through without constant direction

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to drive results
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable holding team members accountable and having difficult conversations
• Sales background or experience coaching teams to achieve operational and service goals is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills with emotional maturity and dependability
• Track record of building strong teams and positive work cultures
• Proactive, hands-on manager who balances daily operations with big-picture thinking
