Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician 1 to support manufacturing operations in a regulated production environment. This role is responsible for equipment setup, product preparation, batch record execution, documentation, aseptic processing, and adherence to all safety and quality standards. Candidates with manufacturing experience, SAP knowledge, and aseptic technique experience are strongly preferred.

Location: St. Louis, MO
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour + 7% Shift Differential
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Potential
Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including filter integrity testing systems, pumps, autoclaves, and bag line equipment.
• Perform production activities such as hand filling, equipment preparation, aseptic gowning, and qualification procedures.
• Execute and document batch records accurately in SAP.
• Perform in-process testing and assays as required.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas following manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate waste disposal and complete required compliance documentation.
• Transport materials and finished products using a motorized pallet jack.
• Maintain accurate equipment logbooks and production records.
• Properly label in-process materials, containers, and equipment.
• Communicate production status, equipment issues, and process deviations to supervisors.
• Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Properly use, maintain, and store required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Support Manufacturing Technician 1 activities and assist with technically challenging production processes.
• Participate in ongoing safety and quality training initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work 100% on-site and complete training on first shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a stable work history.
• Ability to wear required PPE and steel-toed shoes.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience in a production environment.
• Experience with SAP and electronic batch records.
• Aseptic technique and aseptic gowning experience.
• Experience with pipetting, osmometers, or laboratory equipment.
• Associate degree or some college coursework in a related field.
• Knowledge of chemistry, science, or manufacturing processes.
• Experience handling chemicals safely.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and computer proficiency.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or laboratory environment and demonstrate strong reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Candidates with frequent job changes may not be considered.
