Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Pay Rate: Up to $45.00/hr* Job Overview

NaphCare is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 15-week assignment at Ventress Correctional Facility in Clayton, Alabama. This position offers consistent hours, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services in a correctional healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients within the correctional facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient conditions
Assist with intake assessments and routine health screenings
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records

Requirements

Active LPN License
Current BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
Correctional, LTC, Med-Surg, or Behavioral Health experience is a plus
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
