Job Summary:
The ICU Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries, including those on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), left ventricular assist devices (LVAD), and heart transplants. Candidates are expected to bring their license on the first day of assignment, and must have at least two years of experience in a similar critical care setting. The position requires working rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU; valid license with willingness to wait; experience in CVICU with critical care drips including inotropes and sedation; ability to recognize ECG changes; CRRT experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
• Additional Information: Cardiac, vascular, thoracic surgeries, ECMO, LVAD, heart transplants; RN must be able to recognize ECG changes; experienced in titrating all critical care drips including those for inotropes and sedation; tele techs are available for rhythm change updates; work schedule includes three "S" days weekly regardless of shift, with potential to float to other ICUs or stepdown units; weekend and holiday rotations are scheduled with specific requirements; work into existing holiday rotation schedule; policy allows for two shifts per 13-week contract; work is in an environment with 24/7 intensivist and advanced practice provider coverage, as well as telemetry monitoring; candidates must have a license available and be willing to wait for approval.
