This role is responsible for producing clear, consistent marketing content that helps LS Black stand out in a competitive landscape. Key Responsibilities Pipeline and Proposal Management Inform the strategy and execution of proposals and presentation materials, ensuring alignment with RFP requirements, LS Black brand standards, and overall pursuit strategy. Lead the development of RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and SF330 submissions. Coordinate proposal schedules, compliance matrices, and content, ensuring alignment with FAR/DFARS requirements. Elevate proposals and marketing content, making complex information both clear and visually engaging. Monitor SAM.gov and other procurement portals to track upcoming opportunities and assist in maintaining the business development (BD) pipeline and managing CPARS documentation. Manage and maintain the CRM system (Unanet CRM by Cosential), ensuring pursuit data and client information is accurate, accessible, and actionable. Streamline proposal processes by maintaining and organizing key assets, collateral, templates, and content libraries for quick and effective reuse. Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to inform pursuit strategy and positioning. Industry Engagement Own, lead, and support LS Black's presence at industry conferences and events, career fairs, virtual outreach sessions, and association events with federal contracting officers to build market visibility and attract top talent. Develop, maintain, and track industry relationships that create opportunities for thought leadership and brand positioning. Identify and submit for relevant industry awards and recognition programs. Brand Activation Drive LS Black's branding efforts both internally and externally, ensuring messaging is consistent across all touchpoints. Tell compelling stories that bring the LS Black brand to life across proposals, social media, and marketing material, writing, editing, and proofing content that reflects company values and voice. Manage company merchandise, the company store, and applicable vendors, ensuring availability and brand consistency. Manage and maintain the company website and social media accounts, including content updates, page structure, visual assets, and coordination with designated content owners to ensure information is current and on brand. Support the team in overseeing the monthly company newsletters process. Content Creation Develop capability statements, past performance narratives, project sheets, and technical narratives to support future pursuits and brand building. Create compelling presentations and infographics for federal interviews and industry days. Maintain up-to-date company resumes, employee experience profiles, project experience libraries, headshots, and branding materials to meet specific agency standards (e.g., GSA, EPA, DOE). Partner with vendors to plan and execute social media content that amplifies LS Black's brand, both employee and project stories across key channels. Strengthen LS Black's reputation and foster a sense of pride and connection within the team through recognition and storytelling – celebrating wins, promotions, and culture. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, or communications. 7–10 years of relevant experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry, with preference for experience in Federal Contracting. Graphic proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign. Competence in the use of AI tools to increase efficiency and accuracy of work product. Best in class design skills with strong visual communication instincts. Organized multitasker able to handle diverse projects under tight deadlines while ensuring team members meet theirs. Ability to translate technical information into relatable marketing content. Willingness to learn and develop internal and external partnerships. Physical Requirements Must maintain regular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company, including the ability to work holidays, evenings, or weekends as necessary. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Sitting, standing, bending, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lbs. This position requires the ability to maneuver around construction sites where temperatures and noise levels can fluctuate, and the ability to see, hear, and verbally communicate with co‑workers and clients.
