Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Woodridge, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility. If you have a knack for troubleshooting, a passion for problem-solving, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of blow molding or Filler Machines. Hydraulic and pneumatic, schematics and blueprints, 480-volt, 3 phase motors.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts if necessary.
