Key Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored healthcare plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on your credentials
• Offering education to patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing the appropriate medications and therapies post-evaluation
• Managing follow-ups and ongoing care for chronic conditions
• Working closely within interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, all-encompassing patient care
• Keeping meticulous and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within three months)
