About Us
Richardson Exterior Designs is a growing company performing residential weatherization, energy efficiency, and HVAC improvement work through government and residential projects throughout the DFW area.
We are looking for an experienced, dependable Construction Manager / Supervisor to oversee crews and daily field operations involving:
- Weatherization
- Air sealing / infiltration reduction
- Duct system replacements
- HVAC system replacements
- Insulation work
- Health & safety corrections
- General residential repair coordination
This is a leadership role for someone who can keep jobs organized, crews productive, and projects moving efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field operations and multiple crews
- Coordinate weatherization and HVAC-related work scopes
- Ensure health & safety items are addressed first on every project
- Oversee air sealing, insulation, ductwork, and HVAC installations
- Monitor workmanship and job quality
- Communicate with office staff regarding progress, materials, and scheduling
- Train and guide crew members as needed
- Help maintain inspection readiness and project compliance
- Ensure crews stay productive and organized on-site
- Identify and solve jobsite issues proactively
Qualifications
- Experience supervising residential construction or weatherization crews
- Strong knowledge of:
- Air sealing / infiltration work
- HVAC systems
- Duct systems
- Insulation/weatherization
- General residential construction
- Ability to read and understand scopes of work
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to manage crews and maintain professionalism with homeowners
- Must provide strong references from previous employers or projects
Preferred Experience
- Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) experience
- Energy efficiency or home performance background
- Blower door / duct leakage knowledge
- Experience with government-funded residential projects
- HVAC change-out coordination
- Crew scheduling and production management
