Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and development in a school-based setting. This position focuses on delivering occupational therapy services for Pre-K through 5th-grade students over a defined contract period. Your expertise will play a key role in enhancing student success and contributing positively to their educational journey.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and processes
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and tailor strategies to meet the diverse needs of young learners
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services for a PreK-3 caseload of students
- Deliver consultative support for 8 additional K-5 students, collaborating with teachers and support staff
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support classroom participation, fine motor skills development, sensory integration, and self-regulation
- Attend and contribute to team meetings, IEP discussions, and student progress reviews
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required records in compliance with school standards
- Offer guidance, resources, and training to staff and families as appropriate
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: August 24, 2026
- End Date: October 7, 2026
- Hours: 2 days per week
- Caseload: PreK-3 direct therapy, 8 K-5 consult students
