Sr QC Tech - First Shift

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Quality Control Technician for its Laboratory Equipment Division in Marietta, Ohio. The role involves conducting inspections and testing of materials and finished products, coordinating quality assurance activities, and supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products per approved procedures
- Perform tests, measurements, and sampling; document results accurately and timely
- Review inspection records and test data for completeness and accuracy
- Support investigations into defects and customer complaints to identify root causes
- Train and assist other QC technicians on procedures and documentation practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years quality control, inspection, or testing in manufacturing
- Experience reading specifications, drawings, and test methods
- Strong attention to detail and written documentation skills
- Ability to use inspection tools and basic computer systems
- Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance
