Credentialing Timeline: 120 days (temporary privileges available)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified in ABEM or ABOEM, or ABIM/ABFM Board Certified with EM Experience
Licenses: Active TX License
DEA / CDS: Active DEA for TX and CSR if needed
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS (ATLS required for non-EM boarded MD/DO; PALS for PED boarded)
Experience: Board Certified by ABMS/AOA in EM/IM/FM within 5 years of residency completion or fellowship
Other Qualifications: Case Logs for past 2 years, Color copy of Driver's license, Social Security Card, Immunizations (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, Covid), Annual Flu vaccine, Annual TB

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a 14-bed ED with 8 inpatient beds.
Work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p / 7p-7a) with NPPA support during peak hours (12p-12a).
Perform emergency procedures including bedside ultrasound, conscious sedation, intubations, and central line placements.
Collaborate with subspecialties such as Seizures, Respiratory, and Gastroenterology for patient management.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Cerner EMR.
