Greets incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner. Seats guests in the dining and bar areas, while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff. Coordinates wait, and seats Guests with a sense of urgency. Always smiles and has genuine conversations with Guests. Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise. Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers. Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards. Busses tables, delivers food and supports the dining room, while ensuring every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled. Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers. Will have a general knowledge of the food and drink menu and be able to recommend and upsell products. Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner and directs calls. Leads the lobby experience for each Guest, following Outback hospitality standards. As a Servers Assistant, you will be assisting guests and supporting Servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment. REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs. Able to work in hot and cold environments. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift. Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping. Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems. Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment. Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting. Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
