Mid-Level Radiation Test Engineer

Position Overview Amentum is a trusted partner to United States government agencies, allied governments, and corporations worldwide. We are seeking a Mid‑Level Radiation Test Electrical Engineer to support our Strategic Microelectronics program. Responsibilities Perform a range of design development, analysis, or review tasks under supervision. Support radiation testing of microelectronic components. Design a portion or section of an analysis or design review. Generate sections of design specifications for complex projects or complete specifications for less complex projects. Prepare, deliver, and submit technical presentations for in‑process design and review meetings. Direct interface and liaison with customers, from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews, and technical working group meetings to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications. Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related scientific field with 7–12 years of related work experience or equivalent. Strong communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software applications. Ability to travel as required. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance with Interim Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience in modeling and simulation, experimental design, or testing of radiation‑hardened electronics. Master’s degree in engineering or related field with 13+ years of related work experience. Experience with hardware security and trusted electronics issues. Experience with semiconductor fabrication tools and processes. Compensation & Benefits Annual compensation ranges from $90,000 to $130,000, depending on education, experience, and skills.
