These are typically not-to-be-missed live and on-demand B2B events where industries convene and people gather to do business./ppWe also provide data and digital content, as well as year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads./ph3Job Description/h3pThe Business Development Representative is an entry-level sales role focused on building and qualifying the sales pipeline for our events. As the first point of contact for prospective clients, this position offers exceptional growth opportunities, mentorship, and support to drive revenue generation./ppstrongKey Responsibilities/strong/pulliConduct cold calls and email campaigns to generate leads./liliQualify inbound leads from marketing, website inquiries, and trade shows./liliResearch business opportunities and schedule discovery meetings./liliMaintain accurate lead data in Salesforce CRM./li/ulpDatabase Management Research/pulliUpdate and manage client and prospect contact information./liliResearch company profiles and decision-makers./liliEnsure data accuracy and create targeted prospect lists./liliTrack and report lead performance metrics./liliUse Salesforce to track client interactions, opportunities, and forecasts that are up to date and accurate./li/ulpSales Support Customer Service/pulliFollow up on payments and resolve issues with Finance./liliAddress customer inquiries and escalate complex cases./liliSupport sales managers with research and proposals./li/ulpPipeline Development Nurturing/pulliBuild relationships with early-stage prospects./liliConduct introductory calls and qualify opportunities./liliTransition leads to sales reps and maintain follow-up schedules./liliCollaborate with marketing to improve campaigns./li/ulpstrongPerformance Expectations/strong/pulliDaily call and email targets/liliWeekly lead generation quotas/liliMonthly/quarterly sales targets/liliMarketing qualified lead (MQL) conversion rates/liliTimely follow-up on all marketing qualified leads within established SLA timeframes/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent working experience./lili1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development preferred./liliInterest in developing a career in B2B sales./liliFamiliarity with Salesforce CRM and sales automation tools preferred./li/ululliStrong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone presence./liliExcellent time management and attention to detail./liliProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and sales tools./liliComfortable with cold calling and email outreach./liliSelf-motivated and able to work autonomously./liliCoachable and eager to learn./li/ulpstrongKey Competencies/strong/pulliResilience: Persistent and resilient when facing rejection with positive attitude/liliPrecision: Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on commitments and deadlines/liliCollaboration: Team player with collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues/liliDrive: Results-driven with competitive nature and commitment to exceeding targets/liliAdaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, processes, and market conditions/li/ulh3Additional Information/h3pWe believe that great things happen when people connect face-to-face.
