Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Manager role based in Pendergrass, GA.

The Maintenance Manager will oversee daily maintenance operations for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, leading and mentoring maintenance technicians, and coordinating with production and quality teams to support safe and efficient operations.

The role will also involve managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships, as well as ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The Maintenance Manager will continuously identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, processes, and energy efficiency while implementing maintenance best practices to support sustainable, high-quality production.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and basic data analysis to track performance, schedule work, and optimize maintenance activities.

• Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and environmental compliance, with a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, including supervising technicians, delegating tasks, and supporting training and skill development.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, quality, engineering, and external service providers.

• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects, manage budgets, and maintain spare parts and tooling inventories.

• Experience in plastics, fibers, geotextiles, or similar continuous-process manufacturing environments is beneficial.

• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Willingness to work on-site, respond to urgent maintenance needs, and support occasional off-shift or weekend coverage as required.
