Employment Type: W-2 or 1099
Location: Pittsburgh, PA and surrounding areas, including the North Hills and South Hills
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Shannon Staley & Sons is a trusted name in construction and remodeling throughout the Pittsburgh region. We are looking to add a dependable and skilled Senior Craftsman to our team—someone who takes pride in their work, shows up every day ready to get the job done, and treats clients and coworkers with respect.

In this role, you will perform a mix of punch-out and construction-site work, supporting both new-home builders and active jobsites. You will handle everything from fine finish work and repairs to general carpentry, drywall, painting, and installation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on construction tasks, including framing, drywall, trim, cabinetry, doors, painting, and repairs.
• Complete punch-out work for builders such as Foxlane Homes, Ryan Homes, and others.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including saws, drills, nailers, and related equipment.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and a clean, safe jobsite.
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers and team members regarding job progress, material needs, or issues.
• Represent Shannon Staley & Sons’ values of honesty, craftsmanship, and reliability in all work performed.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of construction experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must have appropriate hand and power tools, including a hammer, screwdrivers, tape measure, pry bar, screw gun, circular saw, drywall tools, painting tools, and nailers.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional on every job.
• Must maintain a steady, even-tempered attitude and a commitment to teamwork.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay of $26-$30/hour, based on experience.
