Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Home Health BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate opening for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide visits for our senior living office covering Fredericksburg, VA . This is a PRN or Part Time position. As a home health care Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will be an integral member of a multi‑disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home. From an accredited US healthcare provider. Responsibilities Observing patients and assessing their physical disabilities and functional status. Assisting the Occupational Therapist with determining treatment goals, a treatment plan and delivery. Providing hands‑on intervention and supporting documentation of treatment sessions. Qualifications Must be licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by the state of Virginia. Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory. Graduate from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, or have two years of appropriate experience as an OTA with a satisfactory grade on the proficiency exam for initial qualification before December 31, 1977.
