Aurum Wireless is hiring a dedicated DIRECTV Sales Specialist to serve both residential and commercial customers.

This position is primarily focused on DIRECTV. You will help families, businesses, restaurants, bars, offices, apartment residents, and other customers find the right television and entertainment solution. You will also have the opportunity to offer ADT Security when it is a good fit for the customer.

Some leads will be provided through Aurum Wireless’s existing internet, wireless, security, and business sales channels. However, this is an active outside sales position. Successful specialists will also create opportunities through door-to-door sales, community events, apartment communities, local businesses, referrals, and partnerships.

What You’ll Sell

• Residential DIRECTV service
• DIRECTV for Business
• Television solutions for restaurants, bars, offices, waiting areas, gyms, apartment residents, and other commercial locations
• ADT residential and business security
• Additional eligible Aurum Wireless services when appropriate

DIRECTV will remain your primary product and area of expertise.

How You’ll Find Customers

You will have several different ways to build your business:

• Follow up with leads provided by other Aurum Wireless sales teams
• Visit homes and businesses within an assigned territory
• Work community events, trade shows, festivals, fairs, and promotional events
• Develop relationships with apartment managers and multifamily communities
• Build referral relationships with property managers, real estate professionals, business owners, and local organizations
• Revisit existing Aurum customers who may benefit from DIRECTV or ADT
• Generate repeat and referral business from satisfied customers

You will not be limited to one lead source or one type of customer.

Your Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to assigned leads
• Speak directly with homeowners, renters, business owners, and property managers
• Identify the customer’s television, entertainment, sports, and security needs
• Recommend the appropriate residential or commercial service
• Clearly explain pricing, promotions, installation requirements, and customer commitments
• Complete and submit accurate customer orders
• Follow each order through installation and activation
• Follow up with customers to prevent avoidable cancellations
• Cross-sell ADT Security when it genuinely benefits the customer
• Maintain accurate customer notes and sales activity in the company CRM
• Meet established activity, sales, installation, and quality expectations
• Represent Aurum Wireless, DIRECTV, and ADT honestly and professionally

Previous experience in outside sales, door-to-door sales, events, telecommunications, television, security, apartment sales, or B2B sales is helpful but not required. We will train the right person.

• Valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance

• Ability to travel throughout an assigned local territory
• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends when events and customer availability require it
• Ability to pass applicable background and employment screening
