Nurse Division Float Pool

Job Summary & Responsibilities Women’s Services RN Float Pool will assess, analyze, plan, implement and evaluate patient care following established patient care standards set by the organization. The primary function of this role is to be available and flexible to float to various departments and sites throughout the Texas Market to provide patient care, which may include scheduling day‑of staffing, multiple assignment locations within a single shift, travel assignments, or seasonal staffing patterns. You will participate as a member of the healthcare team in cooperation with and under the direction of a Clinical Leader. Float Assignments & Tiers Float RN II A: Assigned to Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and either North or South Houston Market. Must float between all facilities in the tier, be available for a minimum of 2 shifts each week, including a Saturday or Sunday shift every other weekend, and be available for two major holidays per policy. Pay: $57.00 per hour. Float RN II B: Assigned to Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and either North or South Houston Market. Must float between all facilities in the tier, be available for a minimum of 3 shifts each week, including a Saturday or Sunday shift every other weekend, and be available for two major holidays per policy. Pay: $60.00 per hour. Float RN III A: With a minimum of a 2‑hour notice, float to any facility within the Texas division. Must be available for a minimum of 2 shifts each week, including a Saturday or Sunday shift every other weekend, and be available for two major holidays per policy. Pay: $65.00 per hour. Float RN III B: With a minimum of a 2‑hour notice, float to any facility within the Texas division. Must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts each week, including a Saturday or Sunday shift every other weekend, and be available for two major holidays per policy. Pay: $70.00 per hour. Market Definitions South Houston: Sugar Land, Brazosport, Patients Medical Center North Houston: Woodlands, Lakeside, Vintage Brazos Valley: Burleson St Joseph Manor; Burleson St Joseph Health; CHI St. Joseph College Station; Grimes St Joseph Health; Madison St Joseph Health; St Joseph Manor; St Joseph Regional Health Center East Texas: Memorial Hospital of Polk County; Memorial Medical Center of East Texas; Memorial Medical Center San Augustine Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center Learn more about each facility and the services they provide: Job Requirements Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred (BSN) Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas BLS with skills demonstration Additional certifications may be required depending on specialty and/or location Minimum Experience Two (2) years of RN Women’s Services experience working in an acute care facility.
