Speech Language Pathologist in Wilkes Barre, PA

Make a meaningful impact this summer by supporting students' communication development in a contract speech-language pathologist position for an extended school year (ESY) program. This rewarding opportunity offers a focused schedule-work just Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm-leaving your afternoons and long weekends free! The assignment runs from June 29th to August 6th, with a paid orientation held on Monday, June 29th.


In this role, you'll collaborate with educators and families to provide direct speech-language therapy, contribute to IEP teams, and help students achieve their communication goals in a supportive school-based environment. Enjoy a competitive hourly rate between $38 and $45, with the added benefit of positively influencing students' summer learning experiences.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Educator License
• Experience or interest working within school settings
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement therapy sessions and monitor progress
• Dedication to student success and a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:
