Estimating Sales Representative

A well-established remodeling company is seeking a motivated Estimator / In-Home Sales Specialist to conduct residential consultations, prepare accurate project quotes, and guide customers through the sales process. This role involves meeting clients in their homes, taking measurements, reviewing pricing, and collaborating with project managers to ensure successful project execution.

This is a commission-based position with paid training and strong earning potential for a driven sales professional.

Responsibilities

• Conduct up to 5 in-home appointments per day
  
• Meet customers in their homes (kitchens, bathrooms, sunrooms, basements, etc.)
  
• Take accurate measurements and prepare detailed project quotes
  
• Review pricing and contracts with customers in person whenever possible
  
• Utilize company CRM system with 95%+ accuracy and 24-hour turnaround on documentation
  
• Conduct contract signings using company-provided forms
  
• Participate in pre-construction meetings with project managers
  
• Attend final walkthroughs to create upsell and referral opportunities
  
• Collaborate with Sales Manager and Project Managers to ensure sellable, executable projects
  
• Participate in required training (online, in-person, and occasional overnight training)
  
• Engage in business development efforts including cold calling and visiting commercial locations
  
• Represent the company at home shows and events as needed
  
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with customers, employees, and subcontractors
  

Qualifications and Skills

• 3+ years of in-home sales experience (remodeling, cabinetry, kitchen design, finish carpentry, or related industry preferred)
  
• Strong listening, follow-up, and closing skills
  
• High proficiency with computer software and CRM systems
  
• Tech-savvy and comfortable quoting via laptop in customer homes
  
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
  
• Honest, professional, and calm under pressure
  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  
• Smartphone capable of running required apps
  
• Ability to navigate staircases, crawl spaces, and ladders if needed
