Direct Counsel is seeking an Employment & Labor Associate Attorney to join a highly respected Am Law firm.

Direct Counsel is partnering with a leading firm to identify a skilled Employment & Labor Associate for its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic practice handling sophisticated matters for high-profile national clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions
• Represent clients in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration proceedings
• Advise employers on a broad range of employment matters, including:
  • Employee handbooks and workplace policies
  • Onboarding and separation documentation
  • Leaves of absence and accommodations
  • Employee discipline and compliance issues

Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of employment and labor law experience
• Strong background in employment litigation and counseling
• Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Active admission to the California State Bar

Compensation:

• Base salary range: $325,000 – $365,000, depending on experience and qualifications
