Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: RN - Emergency Room Duration: 5 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Recent experience with EPIC required License: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification or Basic Life Support certification from an approved vendor required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification required AHA-PALS certification required Techniques for Effective Aggression Management or Crisis Prevention Intervention certification required NIH Stroke Scale certification required Must-Have: Recent EPIC experience Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the care plan and coordinates care delivery. Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining predetermined outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Provides learning opportunities to patients and family members. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates the duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and well-being of associates and patients by adhering to vaccination requirements. Participates in E-Verify as required.
